This is to inform you that I will posting some more pics from the final, some tips that I found out and will make you popular at your hotels where ever you go and notes of best and worst when I come back.

This is by far the most I have ever watched a World Cup and I am definitely a convert now.
Going to one live is definitely on my list of things to do in my lifetime.
I picked Italy as "my team" after the Italy-USA game and so of course I was happy.
I HAD picked Zidane as my favorite player and so had mixed feelings going into the final as I would liked to have seen him go out on top -- that is until the head butt!!!
That was surreal! I wuold never in a million years have imagined that he'd do something like that and I was even more happy that Italy prevailed afer that.
It was a sad way for such a great player to go out. I just wonder what he was thinking or what Materazzi could possibly have said to make him stop thinking and do such a thing.
Anyway thanks so much for this blog and for helping turbn me into a true fan of the sport.
I am looking forward to seeing you even though i am also sad for you that your journey is coming to an end.
